polyvore is in fashion now???

After searching here on tumblr for a picture of something from Topshop, I see that under the tag ‘Topshop’, everyone’s Polyvorr sets have popped up! Two years ago when I started this blog, I created a polyvore account too (zenafashion) and synced the two sites. It seems that polyvore has either made a comeback (was it ever gone?) or that I am just totally out of the loop. I

Mommy ‘house style’

Thought i may share what i wear when i’m at home receiving visitors, doing house work or generally just looking after Sebby during Maternity leave. Obviously not everyday as that would be 1-boring for you as i’m limited on the number of outfits i can fit in now i’m inbetween sizes; 2- time consuming for me and 3-i’m waiting for batteries for my brand new camera so will only post the items and not me in them! lol.

Anyway today i’m wearing a Topshop oversized fleck top in the colour forest with a New Look blue shirred waist maxi skirt. Only accessory i have on are a pair of spiked earrings from topshop.

I Fear…

…that my beloved Zara- the Zara who I have been involved with for the past 8 years-is subtly changing her style. Progression is usually applauded, but i feel Zara UK is morphing slightly into Topshop. It could just be due to the new ‘Sports Luxe’ style for this Season why the website reeks of the usual Topshop ‘idgaf new age attitude’- baggy sweatshirts, Egyptology symbols on shirts etc etc. If so, we breathe out that it’s only a phase. If not, then i’m upset. Zara is my one to keep me looking polished without breaking the bank- haute without looking uptight. Zara bring sophistication to the masses, but doesn’t hit you over the head with it. Having been out the fashion game for 5 months, I can tell things are changing. Now my body is coming back after birth, let’s re-evaulate. Mango is looking good…

Top Maternity picks

I love ‘smock tops’ that aren’t really smocks, but just oversized shirts. Topshop have been a lifesaver with their range of maternity casual tops.

My favourites have been their ‘oversized fleck tops’- I have one in forest green & another in red. Had i discovered them sooner, i would have them in every colour going! So it seems that God can be quite understanding when it comes to granting Fashion desires. Just like the Julian Louie Sobeslava Wedges that I NEARLY missed out on, but for ONE pair to miraculously return online in my size one random day; the same thing happened with these shoes! Once I had fallen for the Christian Louboutin Unbout illusion pumps (posted a few days ago), I saw that Topshop had based a pair on the Louboutins with the perspex detailing. Unfortunately, they were all sold out online & in store. That is until a beautiful person decided to return their pair & appeared online last week Sunday- in MY SIZE! :-) I love them. I do find myself walking a bit weirdly in them- perhaps the perspex does not give much support to your feet (being honest, i do walk weirdly anyway). Much love given to the Shoe God. :-) :-)
